Nadiya’s Dream of Learning Digital Skills with ENGAUSA

During my visit to my hometown, Keffi in Nassarawa State, I spent quality time with my family, sharing stories and experiences. One day, while sitting in our compound, my cousin sister Nadiya approached me, her bright eyes filled with curiosity and determination. She said, “Yaya Musa, yaushe zaka kaini ENGAUSA na koyi computer? Sabida ina son na zama kaman kai?”

Her innocent yet ambitious request made me smile warmly. I gently replied, “Nadiya, in sha Allah, saikin fini iya sarrafa computer.” Her face lit up with excitement, and she asked again, “Yaya Musa, when are you going to take me to Engausa?” I reassured her, “Nadiya, idan kika kara girma, zan kawo ki Engausa ki koyi digital skills, in sha Allah.”

With a satisfied nod, she responded, “Okay, Yaya Musa, Allah Yasa.” I added with a heartfelt tone, “Aameen Yaa Rabbil Aalameen.”

Today, as I reminisce about that conversation, I received a delightful reminder of her dreams. Nadiya asked her mom to take a picture of her wearing the Engausa cap I gave her as a gift. Her mom shared the picture with me, along with a message from Nadiya. She told her mom to remind me that she is growing up and that I should not forget my promise. Seeing her in the cap, with her radiant smile and hopeful eyes, touched my heart deeply.

Nadiya is just 5 years old, but she is very smart, Alhamdulillah. Her eagerness to learn and her ambition to excel in digital skills at such a tender age is truly inspiring. I am confident that with the right guidance and support, she will achieve great things. In Sha Allah.
